As July comes around again, it’s time for Hyper Japan! For those of you who haven’t heard of it before, Hyper Japan brings all different elements of Japanese culture into the Olympia London venue, on Friday 12th July until Sunday 14th July. This year sees it’s 10th anniversary, which make it extra special this year.

Noticeably this time sees an increased focus on food, with a kitchen stage this year to show off various cooking techniques. Not only that, Hyper Live is a more diverse this year with the anime All Out! being shown in the morning, talks by illustrator Mitsuhiro Arita and actress Harumi Shuhama, plus Nintendo will be doing some presentations on the stage. Of course, the traditional Bon-Odori event is coming back and this time is happening every day! Naomi Suzuki will also be performing at the event. A woman of many talents, Naomi is a singer, producer actress and presenter, who has worked a lot in the UK, including chairing the London Matsuri festival for 4 years! She was an ambassador for the Japan Rugby World Cup earlier this year, and will be performing the theme song as part of her set.

As usual, in the build up to the event we will be featuring each artist in articles which we will update the links below. For now here are the times so you can start planning your day!
